Research Summary:
The focus of Dr. Oikonomou’s research is on imaging biomarkers in primary and metastatic lung cancers based on CT, MRI and positron emission tomography scans. The research is also focused on evaluating and monitoring lung growths and lung cancer in interstitial lung diseases using novel MRI sequences.
