Research fellow
Connor Brenna is a clinical research fellow in the Perioperative Brain Health Centre (PBHC), as well as a resident physician in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine's Clinician Investigator Program at the University of Toronto. He previously obtained his bachelor's degree in Anatomy and Cell Biology and Biochemistry at the University of Saskatchewan (2017), followed by his medical degree at the University of Toronto (2021). Connor is beginning his career as a clinician-investigator, and hopes to leverage the unique tools of clinical anesthesia to inform fundamental questions about the nature of cognition and consciousness. He is currently engaged in several PBHC projects related to perioperative cognitive dysfunction and assessment, as well as novel applications for virtual realilty in the perioperative space.
