Dr. Edell completed her undergraduate degree at McGill University followed by her medical training at the University of Toronto. Upon finishing residency in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, she completed a two-year fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS) at Mount Sinai Hospital and Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, and a master’s degree in Healthcare Quality at Queens University.
Her clinical interests are in surgical gynaecology (urogynaecology and minimally invasive surgery) and low risk obstetrics.
She enjoys teaching medical learners and is an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto, with an academic focus in Quality Improvement and Innovation.
Dr. Edell is passionate about offering patient-centered care and improving the quality of life of her patients.
