Research Summary:

Dr. Tinmouth conducts “policy-actionable” research in colorectal cancer screening and colonoscopy quality improvement, relevant to health policy-makers and program planners in Ontario, other Canadian provinces and beyond. Her work has had a demonstrable impact on the design and policies of the ColonCancerCheck and Colonoscopy Quality Management Partnership programs in Ontario.

Dr. Tinmouth holds a Canadian Institutes of Health Research Embedded Clinician Researcher Salary Award and has received funding from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, the Canadian Cancer Society Research Institute and the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research.
