Research Summary:
Dr. Brenneman's trauma surgery research has focused on the evaluation of diagnostic tests in blunt trauma patients. Specifically, his team has evaluated the use of CT scan as a diagnostic test in the evaluation of blunt traumatic aortic rupture. They have also looked at the finding of IV contrast on CT scan in blunt abdominal trauma.
