About:

• Staff pathologist specializing in gynecological and breast pathology
• Obtained MD from Sackler School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University, Israel
• Continued training in anatomic pathology at the Wolfson Medical Center in Holon, Israel
• Completed a three year fellowship in breast and gynecologic pathology at the University of Toronto (at Sunnybrook)

Appointments and Affiliations:

• Currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology at the University of Toronto
• Director of Research in the Department of Anatomic Pathology at Sunnybrook
• Member of the United States & Canadian Academy of Pathology since 2005

Teaching and Research

• Involved in undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate teaching of residents and fellows in the area of gynecologic and breast pathology in the Department of Pathology at Sunnybrook
• Research involves gynecological and breast diseases
• Published over 30 peer-reviewed papers and has presented at international conferences
• Current research includes: molecular markers in invasive and in situ breast cancer, prognostic markers in endometrial cancer and immunohistochemical characterization of sex cord stromal tumors
