Research Summary:
The focus of Dr. Ladhani’s research is related to the improvement of care of women undergoing high-risk pregnancies. This includes the assessment of obstetric interventions to improve outcomes in preterm birth and to reduce the maternal and neonatal sequelae of preterm delivery. Current interests in this area include mode of delivery in extreme preterm gestations and maternal choice in the face of unanticipated pregnancy complications. Other areas of interest include optimization of care of women with a history of stillbirth and the care of women with stroke in pregnancy.
