Clinical practice

Dr. Wideman has been a family physician for over 20 years, and has been practicing at Sunnybrook since 1999. During this time, she's been providing her patients with full-scope family practice care, including low-risk maternity care.

Because the Sunnybrook Academic Family Health Team is an education site for the University of Toronto, Dr. Wideman also teaches residents and medical students, with a particular focus on helping them acquire the skills needed to care for women prior to, during, and after pregnancy.

Dr. Wideman is dedicated to her group of patients, and passionate about providing patient-centered, quality care. She believes that excellent patient-physician communication forms the basis of such care.
