Research Foci:
- Multidisciplinary clinical research initiatives of medical cannabis
- Evaluation of inflammatory cytokines in inflammatory bowel disease and nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH syndrome) plus/minus obesity
- Establishment of obesity management protocols
Research Summary:
The focus of Dr. Cohen’s research is on inflammatory cytokine profiles in luminal gastrointestinal disease (i.e., inflammatory bowel disease) and obesity, and hepatic parenchymal disease reflected by NASH syndrome.
