Discounted parking rates: pay-per-use parking passes

Sunnybrook has implemented discounted parking packages to align with the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care's steps to make hospital parking more affordable for patients, their loved ones and caregivers. Pay-per-use parking packages are available for patients, their family members and visitors who frequently visit the hospital.

Passes include in-and-out privileges for a 24-hour period, and they can be used any time for both consecutive and non-consecutive days. Passes can be transferrable between patients, their visitors/caregivers and their vehicles. Only one car at a time can park in the lot. These passes expire one year from purchase date. 

» Purchasing a pay-per-use pass

Passes may be purchased at the Parking and Transportation Services Office located in room CG01 (C-wing, ground floor), and can be purchased on your first appointment date. If you wish to purchase a pay-per-use parking pass, please park in Lot 20 and purchase your pass from the Parking and Transportation Services Office before leaving the hospital. Pay-per-use parking passes are non-refundable.

Please note that there is a $10 deposit fee when purchasing a pay-per-use parking pass. This fee will be refunded once your pass is returned to the Parking and Transportation Services office after use.

Mobile parking payments for hourly parking

Mobile parking payments are now available at six non-gated parking lots at our Bayview Campus!

With the Passport Parking app, patients and visitors now have the flexibility to pay for parking, track and extend their parking time all from their mobile devices. Look for the Passport Parking signs to know if mobile parking payments are available in your lot.

Where can I park?

Parking for patients and visitors is located in the main parking garage as well as other various locations on the campus. View our parking map, which shows these areas marked in orange.

Accessible parking spaces

Accessible parking spaces are located throughout the campus. Please remember to display your permit on the dash, and note that parking fees also apply to these spaces.

Accessible parking spaces are located in Level 3A of Parking Garage 1, near the elevator bank.

Parking pay stations and pay-and-display parking

Parking pay stations are located inside the front entrance of M-wing, outside of M-wing, in parking lot #1 at T-wing, outside and west of H-wing, outside the Emergency Department, outside near D-wing along the south road, outside S-wing, outside of SCIL (U-wing), outside of J-wing, outside in lot #20 and beside the Wellspring Centre.

Parking pay stations accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. Pay and display parking machines accept cash, Visa and Mastercard.

Patients and visitors wishing to pay by Interac may do so in the Parking and Transportation Services Office, located in CG01.

Reactivation Care Centre (RCC) parking

There is a large parking lot on-site at the Reactivation Care Centre. Parking rates at this site are $5 a day.
