Human Papillomavirus (HPV)
HPV is a sexually transmitted infection that can affect various parts of the body including the throat, anus and genitals. Some types of HPV infections can lead to cancer.
- Protection (barrier) methods (for example, condoms), during vaginal, anal and oral sex will decrease your chance of getting HPV or passing it on to a partner
