The Frederick W. Thompson Anxiety Disorders Centre offers specific expertise in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and related "spectrum" disorders, including hoarding, hair pulling (trichotillomania), skin picking and body dysmorphic disorders for anyone over the age of 18. Our specialized services are available to meet the needs of people with severely impairing OCD. Our residential program is open to clients from across Canada and the United States.
We are accepting referrals for all services including; psychiatric consultations, MD to MD consultations on medication and treatment options, and time limited psychiatric care for those who require specialized OCD treatment.

Group treatment for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is currently being offered through a web-based model. For those who are not able to participate in this kind of treatment, alternative options will be discussed with each individual.

Please be advised that due to COVID, the Thompson Centre’s residential and day treatment programs are currently being offered through a hybrid (in-person and virtual) model. Individuals who have submitted referrals will be contacted to discuss treatment options and eligibility.
