What do chiropractors do?

Chiropractors are doctors who are governed by a regulatory body appointed by statute in Canada and in the U.S. Chiropractors treat neuro-musculoskeletal conditions, primarily of the spine, using spinal adjustments. The chiropractic adjustment facilitates the return of a joint to its normal function, relieving back pain, headache and other related conditions. Chiropractic care offers a natural, holistic approach to health care. It can help provide relief from many of today's common health problems such as:

  • Back pain
  • Neck pain
  • Headache
  • Sports-related injuries

When should I visit a chiropractor?

Chiropractic care can provide highly effective treatment of headaches, neck and back pain, as well as other conditions such as stiff joints, tendinitis and arthritis. It is safe, medication free and non-invasive. If you have recently experienced an injury, you may want to visit our clinic. Many types of musculoskeletal injuries related to motor vehicle accidents and occupational or recreational activities can be successfully managed through chiropractic care. Research has shown that chiropractic care is effective in the treatment of low back and neck pain.

What are our fees?

Treatments may be covered by your extended health insurance plan. Otherwise, a nominal fee will be charged for treatment.
