Relationship Management
Relationships are vital to any person’s wellbeing. Strong, active, and positive relationships with family and friends can help foster a supportive environment. Negative relationships can cause hurt or harm to a person physically, emotionally, and mentally.
Five things to consider in relationships that would be helpful in managing depression:
1. What relationships are working well for you?
2. What relationships are creating ongoing stress or you are experiencing a lot of conflict?
3. How is your communication style – do you avoid conflict at all costs or are conflicts out of control?
4. For couples, are you satisfied with the quality and frequency of your intimacy?
5. Do you spend enough time together to help nourish your relationship?
