Life as a learner can be overwhelming. At Sunnybrook, you work hard to help care for the 1.3 million patients we see each year. We want to make sure you’re cared for too. Below is a list of support and wellness services that are available to you. You may also want to consult your family physician.

    First-year University of Toronto family practice resident Tiffany Florindo is one of thousands of students who learn the ropes at Sunnybrook each year.

Getting to the gym »

Sunnybrook has fitness gyms at two of its campuses for staff, physician and student use. Both gyms offer a variety of equipment designed to increase physical activity and improve cardiovascular and musculoskeletal health. Access is free and available 24/7 with your Sunnybrook ID badge.

Bayview Campus: Sunnygym
Sunnygym is located in the west end of L-Basement, under Parking Garage 2.

St. John’s Rehab: Employee Fitness Centre
The Employee Fitness centre is located on the lower level of the Beatty Wing.

Staff, physicians and students are also welcome to use the Outpatient Services Gym on the lower level of the John C. and Sally Horsfall Eaton Centre for Ambulatory Care before and after patient care hours.
