Congratulations to the Family Navigation Project!

May 4, 2021

Sunnybrook’s Family Navigation Project (FNP) is a recipient of the Ontario Brain Institute’s Growing Expertise in Evaluation and Knowledge Translation (GEEK) program which supports services and programs in Ontario “that aim to improve the lives of people living with brain disorders by bringing care closer to home.”

FNP is one of three community-based recipient programs announced today.

FNP helps youth, ages 13-26 years old, and their families, navigate the mental health and addictions system and find appropriate resources and support to suit their needs. FNP provides expert navigation to those living in the Greater Toronto Area (Durham, Halton, Peel, Toronto and York regions).

Funds will help support FNP over the next two years in the implementation of FNP’s youth engagement strategy, which will help support adolescents and young adults who reach out to FNP, as well as their families.

Congratulations!
