This is an observation study over a 2-3 week period in different neonatal intensive care units (NICU) in Canada and Australia of any infants who were admitted to the NICU and were given an intravenous bolus of fluid for treatment of poor blood circulation. This study aimed at collecting data on the types and doses of fluids given, and to identify the exact reason(s) for the clinical team to decide on this treatment.
