Sunnybrook has ranked #2 in Canada and #25 globally in Newsweek’s annual World’s Best Hospitals ranking. The ranking, managed by Newsweek and respected global data research firm Statista Inc., is based on three data sources, hospital recommendations from peers, patient experience and medical KPIs on hospitals, such as data on quality of treatment, hygiene measures, etc.

Sunnybrook is honoured to be recognized for the care we provide to 1.3 million patients each year, across three campuses. The high ranking is a tribute to the talented group of people that make up Team Sunnybrook. From the medical teams to researchers to administrative staff, our experts are dedicated to providing the best care possible when it matters most.
