Sunnybrook receives prestigious award for crisis communications work

Sunnybrook’s Communications & Stakeholder Relations team has won a prestigious International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Toronto OVATION Award of Merit for their outstanding crisis communications work.

Sunnybrook was the sole award winner in the Issues Management & Crisis Communications category this year, competing against large for-profit organizations and public relations agencies.

The Communications & Stakeholder Relations team was recognized for the high level of skill and expertise they demonstrated while strategically communicating with the media, patients & family members and staff during the Code Orange mass casualty incidents last year.
