Road closures: Oct 31 to Nov 1

You may need more time to get to one of our hospital campuses on Thursday, October 31 to Friday, November 1, due to street closures for the Halloween on Church event.

The Halloween on Church event begins at 7pm and ends at 11pm on October 31. Roads will be closed starting at 6:00pm on Thursday, October 31 and will re-open to vehicular traffic on Friday, November 1 at 2:00am. 

Access to the Holland Centre will be via Yonge Street only during the closure period.

Additional closures and accessible roadways in the surrounding area are noted below:

  • Church Street between Gloucester Street and Carlton Street
  • Wood Street between the driveway for 484 Church Street and the curb cut for 425 Church Street
  • Alexander Street between Donna Show Lane and Alexander Place
  • Maitland Street between Donna Show Lane and Alexander Place/ Well-spring Lane
  • Wellesley Street between Dapper Lane and 78 Wellesley Street East
  • Dundonald Street east of 49 Dundonald Street
  • One lane traffic shuts will be maintained for Monteith Street and for the parking garage at 403 Church Street

Barricades will be attended to by Paid Duty Police and/or security guards at all times throughout the closure.
