Sunnybrook senior scientist among most highly cited researchers of 2019
Congratulations to Dr. Benjamin Goldstein, director of the Centre for Youth Bipolar Disorder, on being named one of the world’s most highly cited researchers in psychiatry and psychology for 2019 by Web of Science.
Since 2002, the Web of Science group has identified research scientists and social scientists around the world who have "demonstrated exceptional influence — reflected through their publication of multiple papers frequently cited by their peers", ranking in the top one per cent by citations for their field and year of publication.
"Congratulations to Dr. Benjamin Goldstein on having his research impact recognized with this honour," said Dr. Michael Julius, vice-president of research at Sunnybrook. "Ben’s research is revealing essential new knowledge toward inventing a better future for adolescents with bipolar disorder."
From across Canada, a total of five researchers in the fields of psychiatry and psychology were included on the 2019 list.
