 Dr. Victor Yang and researchers at the B.C. Cancer Agency are using imaging technology he developed for early detection of lung cancer. For more on Yang's innovations, click here.

 Dr. Marc Jeschke and researchers at Shriners Hospitals for Children in Galveston, Texas, measured the threshold for burn size to determine at what point children should get immediate, specialized care: read more.
