Winberg Education Series: Radiation Therapy
On November 27, 2024, we held an online event on Radiation Treatment: The Basics, as part of our Florence Winberg Education Series.
- Part 1: Daniel McRae (Radiation Therapist) provides an overview of radiation treatment, how it works, types of radiation treatment, who is on the interprofessional team and the role of radiation therapists.
- Part 2: Isobel Biricz (Radiation Therapist) presents on the patient journey, explaining in detail the process, side effects and what happens post treatment.
- Part 3: Aline Bardakjian (Patient as Teacher) shares her lived experience with cancer and radiation treatment and some things she figured out along the way.
On May 28, 2024, we held an online event on Radiation Therapy: The Basics, as part of our Florence Winberg Education Series.
- Part 1: Keeran Sritharan (Radiation Therapist) provides an overview of radiation therapy, how it works, types of radiation therapies, who is on the interprofessional team and the role of radiation therapists.

- Part 3: Vivian Simbul Sim (Patient as Teacher) shares her lived experience with cancer and radiation therapy and offers some tips to patients going through radiation therapy, as well as tips for families and caregivers.
