Sunnybrook named among top workplaces in the GTA

For the third consecutive year, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre has been named one of the best organizations to work for in Greater Toronto.

This prestigious designation comes on the heels of an award recognizing Sunnybrook as one of Canada's top 100 employers for 2011.

To be considered for both the national and the regional top employer awards, Sunnybrook participated in an extensive application process, describing our business, workforce, physical environment, work and social atmosphere, health, financial and family-friendly benefits as well as compensation, vacation and personal day policies, internal communications, performance management, continuing education and professional and community development.

We were chosen from a list of literally thousands of entrants to be recognized as a top employer.

Winners of this year's Greater Toronto's Top Employers were announced in a special section of The Globe and Mail on Monday, November 22, 2010.
