Concussion discussion
Dr. Matthew Burke speaks with CBC’s The National about concussion, following the recent discovery of the first case of chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) in a female professional athlete by researchers in Australia.
Dr. Burke was also recently on CBC Radio’s The Current discussing repeated traumatic brain injuries after a recent study found that Hockey Hall of Famer, Henri Richard, had CTE at time of death. Dr. Burke’s interview on The Current begins 12 minutes into the segment.
