Dr. Connor Brenna awarded Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship

Dr. Connor Brenna has been awarded a Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship (Vanier CGS)!

The Vanier CGS is a prestigious and competitive award for graduate studies funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR). This award is offered to doctoral students who demonstrate exceptional leadership and research potential and academic excellence across various fields, including social sciences and humanities, natural sciences and engineering, and health.

Dr. Connor Brenna is a third-year trainee in the anesthesia residency and a PhD candidate in the Clinician-Investigator Program (CIP) of the Royal College Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. A long list of publications and awards attests to his exceptional academic abilities. This highly competitive award recognizes Dr. Brenna’s outstanding leadership, hard work, scholarly contributions, and unwavering commitment to excellence.
