Research Focus:
- The association of sleep disorders with cerebrovascular disease, including:
- The prevalence, impact and characterization of sleep disorders after TIA and stroke
- Whether sleep issues are associated with vascular risk factors and incident vascular disease
- Neurophysiological aspects of sleep & cerebrovascular disease (e.g. EEG, eye and limb movement detection)
- Home and in-hospital sleep monitoring in patients with cerebrovascular disease
