Discharge / Going Home
Discharge time from the hospital is 11 a.m. A family member or friend should take you home after a hospital stay. Volunteers will be happy to provide a wheelchair escort to your car if needed.
When you leave, please make sure that you have all your belongings, as well as your after care instructions and prescriptions. It is important that you understand about:
- Your medication, what to eat and drink
- Returning to normal activities
- Return appointments
If you are unsure about anything, ask your healthcare provider before you leave.
Valuables in safekeeping can be picked up anytime in the Security Office located in CG03.
