Quality

At Sunnybrook, we are on a continuous journey of quality improvement. As a large academic health sciences centre, we are continuously engaged in multiple quality improvement activities, employing new practices and processes so that we can improve the quality of our services and continue to provide the highest quality care and experiences for our patients and their families. We are pleased to share two important aspects of our quality vision at Sunnybrook: our Quality Strategic Plan 2020 – 2025 and our 2020/21 Quality Improvement Plan.

Quality Improvement Plan 2021/22 »

Our Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) is one of the tools we use to track our performance in a selection of high-priority areas, including patient safety, timely access to effective care and building an integrated health system with our community partners. This plan represents our ongoing commitment to achieve and lead in system-wide quality and safety best practices that improve patient experiences and outcomes, and also provides accountability for reaching the highest possible quality and value for health care in Ontario.
