Focused ultrasound featured in Bell Let’s Talk Day coverage
CTV National highlights Sunnybrook’s first in North America trial investigating the use of focused ultrasound in the potential treatment of severe Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD).
The story features Dr. Nir Lipsman, principal investigator in the study and director of Sunnybrook’s Harquail Centre for Neuromodulation, Dr. Peggy Richter, study co-investigator and head of the Frederick W. Thompson Anxiety Disorders Centre at Sunnybrook, and highlights the story of Jeffrey Kotas, the first patient in North America to participate in the trial.
