Head and neck cancer care

We are the third largest head and neck program in Canada. We treat individuals with cancers of the oral cavity (tongue, mouth), major and minor salivary glands, larynx/pharynx, hypopharynx, nose/nasal passages, sinus, eye, skin of the head and neck, and other sites located in this area. These types of cancers are the sixth most frequently occurring cancers worldwide.

Our multidisciplinary and interprofessional clinic offers referred patients the opportunity to see many specialists at the same time to discuss coordinated care and an individualized treatment plan. The care team provides expertise across surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, specialized oncology nursing, pathology, supportive care services including speech pathology, psychiatry, craniofacial prosthetics, and with links to our Smoking Cessation program.
