We take a comprehensive, team approach in diagnosing and treating prostate cancer, which includes a patient evaluation in screening for prostate cancer, detecting it at its earliest disease stage, providing a patient-oriented treatment plan and subsequent support. Our specialists will define treatment goals based on the specific details of the prostate cancer, previous treatments if any, and quality-of-life issues.
Where cure is possible, we offer state-of-the-art surgical approaches and radiation delivery. Where cure is not possible, we offer state-of-the-art treatment approaches to prolong survival and to maximize quality-of-life. The Odette Cancer Center also has leading scientists and clinicians dedicated in prostate cancer research excellence. We have developed many laboratory and clinical advances in the management of prostate cancer that helps with our understanding and how we treat men with prostate cancer.
