Cardiology

Working with the Schulich Heart Centre, our cardiologists are among the best in the country.

Clinical Pharmacology & Toxicology

Our multidisciplinary team provides diagnostic and therapeutic support for patients with adverse drug reactions, drug allergy, poisoning and other issues involving medication.

Dermatology

Dermatology treats all skin-related conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, hair loss, skin cancers, acne, and rosacea. We provide specialized testing and offer a comprehensive service for cosmetic concerns.

Endocrinology

We diagnose, treat and care for hormone-related diseases and conditions. We operate a number of outpatient clinics; including diabetes, polycystic ovarian syndrome, thyroid problems, pituitary disease and lipid disorders, with special focus on pregnancy-related concerns.

Gastroenterology

Gastroenterology diagnoses, treats and cares for diseases of the digestive system, particularly conditions related to gastrointestinal oncology, liver disease, inflammatory bowel disease, nutritional support and other conditions requiring endoscopy.

General Internal Medicine

We deal with preventing, diagnosing and treating adults with complex multiple system illness. We are the largest admitting service in the hospital, and also provide consultative services for medical issues in all areas of the hospital.

Geriatric Medicine

Geriatric Medicine offers a full spectrum of patient care for seniors, from multidisciplinary assessments to outreach and in-home treatments. We have an active day hospital, a falls program and provide consultations to all areas of the hospital.

Infectious Diseases

Focused on the diagnosis, treatment & prevention of infectious diseases, we specialize in HIV, hospital- acquired infections and antimicrobial resistance.

Medical Oncology & Hematology

We work extensively within the Odette Cancer Centre, with leading care, teaching and research.

Nephrology

Providing consultation and treatment for kidney-related conditions, our regional dialysis centre provides a full range of care and support for patients with kidney disease.

Neurology

Supporting all conditions of the brain, we treat patients and conduct research in areas such as stroke and neurodegenerative disease. As well, we offer EMG, EEG and sleep study laboratory services.

Obstetrical Medicine

We have a team of medical specialists and sub-specialists who provide expert care to women with chronic medical diseases and complications of pregnancy through the DAN Women and Babies Program.

Rehabilitation Medicine

We help patients maximize their recovery from illness or injury, and regain their quality of life through a number of outpatient programs.

Respirology

Supporting patients with lung conditions, we specialize in asthma, COPD, lung cancer, blood clots, sleep and musculoskeletal related breathing disorders.

Rheumatology

Working with joints and soft tissues, we provide services throughout the province for patients with arthritis, joint disorders and certain autoimmune diseases.
